Welcome to The Illustration Deadline.

I’ve created this blog as a way to hold myself accountable for being more productive in 2012. The idea is simple (spoiler alert: no it’s not).

I will create a new illustration every 4 days.
I will randomly choose the subject of each illustration using lists I’ve generated in 4 categories: Surface design, portrait, book covers, editorial.
At the end of each 4 day cycle, I will post the new illustration, whether or not it’s done.

I also plan on talking about illustrators and artists who inspire me, new techniques I want to/have tried, and my own illustration process.
