deadline #25 - portrait - Marilyn Monroe - finished!
This piece let me hit a whole bunch of my goals: (1) Much more complex (a background! A piece of furniture! Imagine that! Plus, some texture in the background, and on the couch cushions, and on the wood floor) (2) I did the whole thing in Photoshop (3) I did lots of perfecting the sketch before I started coloring it.
I guess it doesn’t look like Marilyn Monroe too too much, but I like to think that someone looking at it could figure out who it is…the mole, the blond curly hair, the outfit? Maybe? Whatevs. I’m pretty happy with it.
